Zara Phillips didn't have to worry about her groom 'getting to the church on time'.
Mike Tindall arrived at Canongate Kirk a full hour and a quarter ahead of his nuptials to the Queen's granddaughter on Saturday.
Clearly excited about his impending marriage, the rugby star wore a broad smile on his face and looked happy and relaxed as he waved to the crowds outside the church.
The 32-year-old – dapper in a Saville Row morning suit tailored to fit his impressive frame - was flanked by his best man Iain Balshaw and the bride's brother Peter.
Well wishers gathered outside Canongate Kirk gave Mike a big cheer as he made his way towards the church to welcome guests.
His arrival was much earlier than many had anticipated – Zara, it is thought, will arrive at one minute to three.
