Why the Windsors love Zara

28 JULY 2011

Her name was suggested by Prince Charles.

"The baby made a rather sudden and positive arrival," her mother Princess Anne recalled.  "And my brother thought Zara (a Greek name meaning 'bright as the dawn') was an appropriate name.

And it couldn't be more fitting because whenever Zara Phillips is around, everyone in her family seems to have a happy smile on their face.

Not shy about expressing her feelings, the Queen's granddaughter usually greets her relatives  including her uncle, who's used to rather more formality  with an enormous kiss and a hug.

At her wedding to Mike Tindall, which has been billed as a private family affair, the Windsors will be out in force, positively beaming with delight as their beloved Zara starts the new chapter of her life.
