The Stockholm settings of Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling's wedding celebrations

One of the factors that undoubtedly makes a wedding such a unique and unforgettable event is its location. And in the case of the upcoming June 19 nuptials of Sweden's Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling, the city of Stockholm will be that special place, hosting dinners, parades and concerts in addition to the ceremony itself. Here's a look at some of the places that will form a part of the couple's spectacular celebration.

The Swedish capital is preparing to welcome royal visitors from all over Europe

Two days before the nuptials, the bride's parents, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, will entertain guests at a private dinner at the royal residence of Drottningholm Palace

Since they announced their engagement, Princess Victoria and Daniel have lived in one of the wings of Drottningholm Palace

The day before the wedding, Stockholm's City Hall will host a government reception and, that same evening, a dinner

There will also be a special show at the Concert Hall one day before the Princess says 'I do'

The Concert Hall interior is a familiar sight as it is where the king announces the recipients of the Nobel Prize each year on December 10

Victoria and Daniel will become husband and wife in Stockholm's cathedral

After the wedding, bride and groom will participate in a procession through the centre of Stockholm and take a trip on the royal barge Vasaorden, which will set sail from the city's harbour

During their cruise, the newlyweds will be honoured with salutes from war ships, military parades and musical tributes

About 1,200 guests will attend the wedding banquet, which will be hosted by King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia at the Royal Palace

On June 19, the Royal Palace, the monarchy's official home and the largest of all its residences, will bear witness to a historic day

Once married, Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling will move in to Haga Palace, in the Solna district of Stockholm
