In June 2010, eligible bachelor
Prince Albert of Monaco announced his plans to wed his long-term love,
Charlene Wittstock.

The huge sparkler features a pear-shaped three carat diamond at its centre, surrounded by round diamond brilliants. It is thought that the ring – reportedly created by exclusive Parisian jeweller Repossi – is worth more than £62,000 ($100,000)
