Royal wedding 'date': Chelsy Davy expected to accompany former flame Harry
31 JANUARY 2011
In the five months since they ended their relationship, Prince Harry and Chesly Davy have remained firm friends.
And now there is speculation romance could be back on the cards for this on-off couple with the news Chelsy will accompany Harry to his brother's wedding.
According to friends of the pretty blonde, she is expected to attend as Harry's date when William weds on April 29.
And with plans to return to the UK later in the year, the 25-year-old could find that love with her prince blossoms once again.
Zimbabwe-born Chelsy is currently on a gap year after finishing her post-graduate law studies and has spent the last six months travelling around Africa.
"Chelsy has had a great six months but she only intended to have a year off from her legal training and then she plans to move back to London, where she has a flat in Belgravia," a friend told the
Daily Mail.
"She still has a job offer at lawyers Allen & Overy and plans to start there in September."
The University of Cape Town graduate was offered her position at the law firm after completing her legal practice course, but decided to put it on hold to go travelling.
"If she's back in the UK the chances are she will be back with Harry," another friend added.
"They are still fond of each other and are always leaving sweet messages for each other on Facebook."
As for reports that Chesly has started spending time with her friend Alayne Moseley? "There's talk that they are together," a source confirmed. "But if anything Alayne is a stop-gap.
"Chelsy's real love is Harry, who's desperately missed her while she's been travelling. We have never ruled out a reconciliation."
