Princess Madeleine sparkles in silver sequin Elie Saab gown

Bride-to-be Princess Madeleine of Sweden sparkled in a silver Elie Saab gown as she took to the balcony of the Grand Hotel in Stockholm ahead of the pre-wedding dinner hosted by her parents King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.

The royal, who will tie the knot with her financier love Chris O'Neill on Saturday in the Swedish capital, dazzled in a silver dress with heavy embellishment. She had chosen to keep her hair down and wore it in cascading curls.

Wearing drop earrings and a multi-strand pearl bracelet, Madeleine and her fiancé Chris waved to the crowds of well-wishers gathered below.

Her sister Princess Victoria was spotted heading into the lavish five-star hotel for the dinner with husband Prince Daniel. Victoria looked equally stunning, wearing a dove grey dress with an asymmetrical hemline by British designer Jenny Packham, a favourite of Kate Middleton. She looked to be in high spirits as she arrived for her sister's wedding celebrations, excitedly waving to the crowds and cameras.

The ladies' mother, Queen Silvia, arrived on the arm of her husband King Carl Gustaf. The royal was the epitome of elegance in a floor-sweeping red gown that showed off her slim physique to perfection.
