Scandanavian royals head Princess Madeleine's wedding guest list

The official guest list has finally been announced for Princess Madeleine's highly anticipated wedding to Chris O'Neill on Saturday.

Out in force to support their fellow Scandanavian royal are Prince Frederik, Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie from Denmark and Norway's representatives, Prince Haakon, Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Märtha Louise and her husband Ari Behn.

Princess Charlene of Monaco will attend Madeleine's nuptials without her husband Prince Albert, marking the first time she will represent the House of Grimaldi alone.

Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg, whose 2012 ceremony was Europe's most recent royal wedding, will also make an appearance in Stockholm.

Flying the flag for Great Britain are the Earl and Countess of Wessex, who often represent the UK at European royal weddings.

Notably absent from proceedings will be Willem-Alexander and his wife Maxima, who were crowned king and queen of The Netherlands in April, Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium, Prince Albert of Monaco and Spain's Prince Felipe and his wife Letizia.

Chris O'Neill's mother Eva Maria will attend her son's wedding without his father, who sadly passed away in 2004, as will Princess Madeleine's sister Princess Victoria, her husband Prince Daniel and of course parents of the bride, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden.

Despite reports by the media that Madeleine's brother, Prince Carl Philip, would not be bringing his girlfriend, glamour model and reality star Sofia Hellqvist is named on the guest list.

Princess Madeleine's wedding dress designer, Valentino, will also be attending the Swedish royal's big day. The Italian fashion designer is listed by his full name, Valentino Garavani.

Valentino isn't new to dressing the bride of a royal wedding, having created gowns for both Maxima of the Netherlands and Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, who will step out with her husband Prince Pavlos in Stockholm on Saturday.

Alejandro Santo Domingo, whose niece Tatiana Santo Domingo recently gave birth to Monégasque royals Andrea Casiraghi's son Sacha, will also attend the royal wedding.
