Sophie and Edward will be in the company of special guests from around the world who will gather to witness Madeleine say 'I do' to her financier love, Chris O'Neill, on 8 June.
While the final guest list has not yet been revealed, Sophie and Edward will join fellow European royals for Madeleine's nuptials in Stockholm, making a return to the Swedish capital having attended Princess Victoria's marriage to Daniel Westling in 2010.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex, who married in 1999, are no strangers to European royal weddings. The duo have been on the guestlist for ceremonies in Monaco, Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
On home soil, the couple attended Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall's big day in Edinburgh, as well as the high-profile wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Most recently Sophie, 48, and Edward, 49, attended Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg's union with Stephanie de Lannoy, where Sophie stepped out a monochrome dress by British designer Emilia Wickstead and a unique black hat by milliner Jane Taylor.
Royal watchers will eagerly anticipate Sophie's outfit for the royal wedding of the year — the stylish royal was recently announced as the first ever patron of London College of Fashion.
