In a lavish, two-day celebration to be broadcast on giant screens around the city of Luxembourg, Prince Guillaume will wed his aristocratic love Stephanie de Lannoy.
And after the official ceremonies, when Europe's last unmarried royal heir ties the knot, wellwishers will gather for a fun rock concert in the country's capital.
Ahead of the wedding, Guillaume, the son of reigning Grand Duke Henri and his wife Maria Teresa, unveiled a photograph of himself and his future wife looking very much in love.
The Ducal House also released the couple's official monogram which features their initials topped by a crown.
In a nod to Luxembourg's national colours a blue ‘G’ for Guillaume is entwined with a red ‘S’.
Their celebrations will start on October 19. Following a civil ceremony, the bride and groom will host a champagne reception at Luxembourg's Grand Theatre for young people born on the same day as them.
On Saturday, the official ceremony, full of tradition and pomp, will take place in the Cathedral of our Lady of Luxembourg and will be broadcast on screens in Place Guillaume II.
Luxembourg's city centre will enjoy a party atmosphere with a firework display at the historic Thungen Fortress, before Belgian pop star Selah Sue and Luxembourg soul outfit Funky P perform in the Place de Paris.
The band announced their excitement about their role in national history on their website with the message "London had Elton John, Monaco had The Eagles and Luxembourg will have Funky P."
Guillaume and Stephanie, who chose the music themselves, are expected to carry on the festivities into the early hours.
