Sofia Vergera and Joe Manganiellohave shared snaps of themselves back in the eighties and nineties, and we would never have recognised them! The happily married couple took to social media to share the pictures from their awkward teenage years.

The Modern Family star shared a snap of herself with her friend dressed in bikinis as they posed by the pool, captioning the snap: "Tbt Barranquilla in the 80s!! 13 ys old. @margieheilbron," accompanied by sunshine emojis.

Sofia shared a photo of herself as a teenager

Meanwhile, her husband shared a handsome head shot from the nineties. The True Blood actor looked hardly recognisable without his beard, and posed while running a hand through his hair. He captioned the photo: "Throwback Thursday... my old headshot from when I was 18 years old. Circa: 1995. #TBT."

Fans were quick to praise Joe's hilarious throwback snaps, with one writing: "absolutely the most handsome human on this place called earth," while another wrote: "You're better looking now, aged like a fine wine."

Joe shared a head shot of himself aged 18

The couple regularly post similar snaps sharing insights into their lives together, and most recently both shared the same photo of an elaborate Game of Thrones-themed cake in anticipation for the show's series finale.

Sofia and Joe wed on 22 November 2015 in a beautiful, star-studded ceremony in Florida, and the 43-year-old chatted to Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show about their magical wedding, saying: "It was like a dream, like a fairy tale. Like, it came out perfectly how I wanted. I have to say, the people that work helping me do the wedding, amazing!"

The stunning star also recently shared a photo of herself with Joe for the couple's two-year anniversary since they began dating, writing: "2 yrs. Te Amo. Don't ever change."
