Lily Allen's new album is set to be her "most honest" yet, according to Mark Ronson. The music producer has been working with the singer on a follow up to her 2014 album Sheezus, and hinted that it could be focused on her rumoured split from husband Sam Cooper.

"We've been writing together again on the new record. I feel like they are some of the best songs she's ever written. Her voice sounds incredible," Mark told The Sun.

"The stuff I'm working on is some of her most honest and heartbreaking music ever. She writes so honestly you can feel it."

Lily is rumoured to have separated from her husband Sam in 2015, but is yet to publically confirm the split. The 31-year-old has been keeping quiet about her personal life, but was recently forced to address relationship rumours when legal papers filed after a stalker gained entry to her home in October revealed that she had been in bed with DJ Daniel London when the incident occurred.

Lily appeared to confirm she was in a relationship with the DJ when she tweeted and then deleted: "I had hoped I could keep my relationship quiet until I introduced my boyfriend to my children."

The singer has two young daughters from her relationship with Sam; Ethel, four, and Marnie, three. She recently put the family home in the Cotswolds up for sale, prompting further speculation that she and Sam are heading for a divorce.

Lily was due to perform a DJ set at Glastonbury festival over the weekend but was forced to pull out due to a knee injury. "I'm not going to Glastonbury," she said. "I have a hole in the back of my kneecap and it's excruciatingly painful so I don't think the mud is for me this year."
